We will be joined by Pat Hynes who is running for Cook County Assessor.

Pat Hynes has served as the Lyons Township Assessor since 2021 and has 30 years of experience in the property tax industry. He grew up in the Beverly neighborhood in Chicago. His Father was a Chicago Firefighter and mother was a Chicago Public School Teacher. He spent two decades at the Cook County Assessor's Office and knows first hand how to make the office more accurate and fair for everyone. He is a certified Illinois assessing officer and member of the International Association of Assessing Officers and holds a B.S. in Real Estate from DePaul University. In 2025, Pat won the Outstanding Achievement in Property Assessment Award by the Illinois Property Assessment Institute. Pat is also a volunteer
