About the event
Please join us February 7th for our monthly lunch seminar. The keynote speaker this month will be Charles Cloutier, Director of Planning & Construction at Northwestern Memorial HealthCare. We will discuss the upcoming Bronzeville Outpatient Care Center. The recently approved 120,000-square-foot facility is said to provide immediate care services as well as diagnostics, mammograms, lab tests and chemotherapy in an area with a population of 50,000 people.
The project is expected to create 1,000 construction jobs in a joint venture between Ujamaa Construction and Power Construction. Ujamaa is a minority-owned firm that specializes in community rebuilding projects with a diverse workforce and an emphasis on sustainable construction.
